'The Hotei is new but sits right next to the freeway and under a flight path for planes coming into land at the local airport. The decor is simple with lots of hard surfaces. So everytime a client opens or closed their room door the sound echoes down the hallways. The room doors don't close, they slam. The room amenities are minimal...one tiny shampoo and soap. No hair dryers. Small sized towels. A nice small kitchen but completely empty...so useless except for the refrigerator...unless you...

'Husband and I spent three nights in the two room suite. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our generous free breakfast. We plan to return later this year and recommend staying here.'

'Room was okay. Basic. In-the-wall AC/heater unit. Housekeeping skipped stopping by and restocking coffee and trash once. One coffee pod given per night for 4-cup machine. Most annoying part was us getting there and our room being ready, yet being charged a $25 fee to check in “early” after a long travel day. 'This place is overpriced, dirty feeling, dark, and staff assistance non existent. No wifi except piggy backing off the casino. The casino is a small and dingy as well. I do not recommend. 40 min from Reno with the fastest way driving back to 80 in Cali - Truckee.'
