'Great mini hotel. Eleni, the onsite manager, was kind and helpful. She was good at communicating and even helped me with my suitcases. The place was so clean that even when I walked around barefoot, not a single speck of dirt was on my feet. They also offer complimentary candies, coffee, tea, and rakka in each room.'

'Fabulous small hotel in the heart of Chania Old Town. 5 minutes from the port, restaurants and shops. The owner was very welcoming and let us check in early. My friend and I stayed for one night. There were 2 double bedrooms very tastefully decorated. Tea and a coffee pod machine were very welcoming as was the water in the fridge. I don’t sleep very well, the bed was so comfortable I had a great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be booking it on my next stay in...

'This was one of the most charming, beautiful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. Veronika went out of her way to help me get my suitcases up and down the steep stairs, gave me great local advice for food and adventure, and was super professional, polite, and friendly. The view from my room was exceptional. The only drawback was the noise level. I would stay there again. If you stay there, you must eat at Tamam - about a half block from Vranas!'

Would have benefited from someone on reception to give advice about best places to go to and what to see. The reception was unmanned during our stay but the restaurant staff were very helpful. 'We stayed in Pasiphae, the Avra apartment over two levels and with a balcony overlooking the harbour. It was amazing, without a doubt one of the best holiday apartments we have stayed in. Beautifully fitted out to a high standard; enormous; amazing views from the balcony - we sat there every night till late and felt like we were part of the buzz but in a VIP area!
