'I had mixed feelings about my stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Las Colinas. There is a lot to love about this hotel. The property is beautiful, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the bed and pillows were exceptional. I slept very well, and the overall ambiance is exactly what you would expect from a luxury hotel. However, my experience was overshadowed by one major issue. Notified the front desk and all they said was to “email the GM” but we have not heard back or received a refund. Elevators were not working. I should have paid the extra $20 to stay somewhere else.'

'Staff was rude during breakfast time both times, the breakfast was great which was a let down dealing with the rude attendant. The rooms smelled bad upon arrival but did look clean. The power went out the following morning and staff was very unorganized and unprofessional in handling the matter. They did not give us any credit for the early checkout nor had any information to how long or why we had to be in a hot dark hotel room. 'I had to sign the properties rules that there was NO SMOKING in the room yet when I walked into the room old cigarette smoke was all I could smell. The beds were TERRIBLE!!!!! Trying to find a spot that I didn't sink completely in or roll off the bed was very challenging. I didn't feel comfortable enough to even take off my socks, the place just felt dirty. This property had a rating of 8.2 and I am not sure I would even give it a 6 except for location. To say the least I was very disappointed...
