'This was a great property for all of our family to gather during the weekend. Very spacious and we felt very cozy. Kitchen and family room area was perfect for our big family and little ones. Would definitely stay here again in the future if the need arises. Also owner was very quick respond to all of my question!!'

'We stayed here sadly for only one night while traveling on a food tour through the South. I wish we could have stayed here longer, the house is adorable, the beds were super comfy, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again! A meal at The Blind Pelican is a must! '

'We initially chose this property because it offered two master suites, making it the perfect house for two families. The bigger suite is more private, with the smaller one being closer to the other bedrooms. This was great for our family of four and another couple.There was plenty of parking, and the check-in process was super easy.The snack machine was a big hit with the teenagers!We were pleasantly surprised by the location. Easy walk to a farmer's market, great restaurants and shops.'

'We got this house because it was the only thing we could find that was affordable in Durham for a family my size. It had a terrible mildew/sulfur smell that hit you as soon as you walked in the door. There were paper towels to wipe your hands in the bathroom but no trash cans. We really were unsure if the sheets were clean. There were stains all over the walls that looked liked body fluid. My mom feel down the stairs because they were unsteady and deep. 'We stayed here for my son’s college graduation. The house has loads of charm and character and was conveniently located. It’s also very spacious and we really enjoyed the front porch. The owners thoughtfully provided white noise machines for all the rooms as the house is on the bus line. And the house has great privacy due to the owners use of glass frosting and blackout drapes.
