'The room was nice and modern and clean but they only had one elevator running when we arrived and it was running extremely slowly servicing 5 floors. It was very inconvenient as we had to wait 5-10 minutes every time we needed to use the elevator. On the 2nd day (day of checkout) BOTH elevators were out of service and we had to carry all our stuff down the stairs. 'I have stayed at this hotel in the past and honestly have always enjoyed the stay. This time the room had standing water - at least six inches - in the tub. The woman at the desk - Monique - said she would have it fixed while we were out for the afternoon. I have been in town recently to help care for my brother who had triple bypass surgery. We left the hotel to go to see him and when we returned several hours later there was still standing water in the tub and the toilet would not flush....

The locomotives' hooting can be heard all over Columbus but it has its charms and after 10 years or so you get used to it. It was not a problem for me.'
