'It was a place to stay for two nights, and it was quiet. I stayed on the 2nd (top) floor. It is a basic motel, with parking immediately in front of the rooms. No amenities, and nothing nearby (walking distance) for dinner/snacks/drinks.'

'The property hasnt been maintained properly, overtime it shows. Yes, landscaping crew was there cutting grass during my stay but when they dont clean up the debris afterwards it builds up every where(door matts, walkways driveway etc..) I checked into a room that smelled clran , presentable but was wrong room. The correct room was presentable but didnt smell like the other room, my bathroom had blue toothpaste on the sink, to me not clean. I really liked the property the only thing missing was...

'The 1661 Resort is hands down my favorite place to stay on Block Island. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It's also far enough from the downtown bars and crowds that you can truly relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, while still being just a short walk or bike ride away from everything. The resort is beautiful, and the recent updates to the farm and the new spa and fitness area across the street make it even better. 'This was a convenient place to stay close to wickford. Worked out well to have your pet as well only $50 fee. But if you have a pet your in a separate building in front of the restaurant. If you’re a late sleeper it gets loud by the staff who started working at 6am. Also the mattresses were very had I was sore the next day. They really need put some foam mattress pads on the beds. It was really nice to have the breakfast right next to the hotel and there is a nice green area to walk your pet.'

'Beautiful & delicious! I’ll never stay anywhere else when I’m in the Mystic area. Hosts have thought of everything! The place is filled with amazing art and fascinating sculptures. The yard is filled with beautiful tree’s & flowers. Breakfast is a wonderful variety of fresh and baked foods that go above and beyond. Sheets, towels, mattresses, and bathrooms are all high quality and well-selected. Highly recommended!'

'Very clean, quiet, and friendly. Staff was very welcoming, escorting us to our room and explaining everything. View of Wood River and pond from our room was fantastic. We saw a variety of birds and wildlife from our patio. We have stayed at the Stagecoach House Inn several times and plan to stay there again.'
