'Beautiful, private, peaceful cabin in the woods. The place was spotless, well appointed and welcoming. The views were gorgeous from inside the cabin and out and we loved having morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs on the deck overlooking the mountains. Easy, quick communication with the hosts, who also provided a ton of helpful information about things to do and see in the area prior to our check in. 'Second time staying here. It's a great place to stay if you want to be an easy, short ride to some awesome trails and you just need a reliable home bass to hang out, get a good, hot shower, make some food, and get some sleep before heading out to do your outdoor activities. Not suitable if you're seeking luxury. But it's a great place otherwise. The owners are planning some upgrades over time, and it was already upgraded some since our last stay. I hope they get a hose out back for bike...

'Great spot - close to Smugglers Notch and Stowe. Took advantage of great bike trails in the immediate area and in Burlington. Even though a bit north of Stowe, great restaurants and drinking places close by. Cabin was plenty big for 4 adults and two small dogs. Mountains were beautiful and such a deep green color! We did have a big adult bear greet us as we unpacked our car. Nearby homeowners have seen him many times before and made us feel safe, but did double checked the area when we went...
