'This was a very nice place to stay. Very convenient to downtown Maysville. I thought it was very comfortable and the breakfast was first rate! There are downstairs (first floor) rooms, but mine was on the top floor and no elevator. So please note if you have mobility issues. I parked on the street so I don’t know what other options are available. Lovely place and historic property.'

'The location was beautiful. But the house was very dirty and in need of much repair. The water smelled like poop. The toilet in our room was filled with waste. The ceiling downstairs right by the kitchen had a huge hole and pipes exposed. The front door was broken and needed much repair. The patio out back was filthy the kitchen a complete mess with dishes stacked in the sink. They had cats and dogs in the house and while I was eating a cat jumped up in my lap. 'James took great care of us. The property is an amazing old mansion, beautifully restored and very charming. James made us an amazing breakfast and was able to tell us all about the history of the mansion. I highly recommend staying there, truly a memorable experience.'

'This is a beautiful property with a very interesting history. It is situated in a neighborhood so there was no traffic noise and the rooms were very quiet. But.... 1. We did not get the email from the property to access the room. I called the number on the website and the previous owner responded that he had sold the property. He even checked with us the next day to make sure we were ok. We did find the property manager that evening and got into the room. 2. There was no toilet paper in the...

'A very unique place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I was able to park on the street in front of the inn most of the time. But one day the parking lot was full and I had to park across the street and thru a stop light. We enjoyed our stay. Carpets need to be replaced or cleaned.'
