'This hotel is definitely geared towards people visiting Bardstown to explore the bourbon industry. Neither of us like bourbon but still had a great visit. The hotel is really well done. The food was wonderful and the staff was super friendly. The hotel is only 1 year old so everything is shiny and new. '

'Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. '

'Noisy room over the air conditioning units- in room air conditioning noisy as well. View was of filthy roof . Not one piece of art or anything decorative in the room.. shower was okay but step in tub to shower which is so dated. Staff was nice, especially James . Bar service okay. Just dated property, nothing resort about it.'

'My wife and I were at the Wolf Pup cabin for approximately 20 minutes total… after driving 3 hours. When we arrived, there was mouse poop all over the bed and dead cockroaches scattered on the bottom floor. We called the host and stated we would not be staying here, to which he replied “that’s odd, the exterminator was there on Monday.” It was absolutely disgusting. Since we arrived at 6:30 pm, there was no where available nearby… all lodges, cabins, and hotels were booked. We had to drive an...
