'We thought we had the wrong address... it’s one of those trips where you realized you are going to stay at Bates Motel for one night. Everything was super tired and it felt like a time capsule from 1983. Nothing had been updates except from the shower curtain (no hint here on the Bates Motel comparison). 'The facility is pretty amazing if you like retro buildings. If (and that’s a big if) they invested a few dollars in the ac systems in the rooms, the plumbing and refreshed the deco look (maybe better lighting?) it would really be incredible. The gym, privately owned but free to guests, was the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. '
