'The house was excellent. It was furnished nicely. It had a well-equipped kitchen, two spacious bedrooms. It was very conveniently located so that we could walk downtown.'

'What a precious home-away-from-home! It’s a convenient distant from downtown Dahlonega and far enough to be quiet and peaceful. It is perfectly appointed with many personal touches to be far better than corporately-managed rentals. The lush forest around the property and outdoor seating make this rental even more special. We will definitely stay again!'

'I loved the property location, very central!!! The place was in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Did not expect that!!! It felt safe being there. The property was very accurate and easy to find. The only take away was that the upstairs floors were a bit squeaky and the secondary bathroom had a moldy shower curtain. Everything else about the property was great'

'Our stay in this quaint cabin was perfect and exactly as represented. It’s well equipped, the amenities were as described and for the one item I needed to connect with the host, they were responsive and as helpful as possible. I’d highly recommend the area, if you are looking for peace, a short drive to many of the mountain hiking trails and lakes. It was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. One note, is the road in and out of the “subdivision” is very steep in a few areas, we had a small sedan...

'Cute cabin. Split floor plan so perfect for 2 couples or families. Both bathrooms are identical with big showers. King size beds in each bedroom. Check in and check out was super easy. Great location.'

'We absolutely loved our stay at porter retreat home! The house was so clean and we loved everything about the house. It was less than 10 min to Dukes falls which was breath taking and the outdoor patio with the tv sitting area we took advantage of. It was the reset we were looking for!'

'This place was was soo beautiful and peaceful. Will recommend to everyone'

'Great house! Perfect for our group of 7. Very nice towels and linens. Well appointed kitchen. Wonderful location!'

'Another great stay! The unit was clean, comfortable, quiet, and very convenient to get in and out of. This was our second stay in this particular unit, and we’ve also stayed three times in another unit just two doors down. We’ve always had a great experience and will definitely be back!'

'Fantastic cabin and great communication from the host! Will stay again!'

'A great centrally located suite in Helen. Easy walk to everything in town. Very well equipped with a large jetted tub. Very good communication with helpful host.'
