'What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!'

'Wonderful experience here! The property was very clean and all of the amenities worked and were described well. The water was perfectly clear in the lake and the area around the dock was complete clean of weeds. When we visited we got lucky in Aug and it was colder so there were no bugs around to bother us like some of the reviews are saying '

'Our unit was ready early so we were able to check in an hour early. Beautiful property! One member of our party had stayed here before and recommended it to our group. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.'

'Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes...
