'We have stayed here twice now. Not too crowded. The scrambled eggs actually taste good. There is an additional sink outside of the bathroom, which is great for when you need to get ready while the bathroom is tied up. Pillow lovers will appreciate that there are 4 pillows for each queen bed.'

'We decided to stay here for a couple nights for the Duluth Airshow as it was nearby. It was wonderful. Staff was attentive and respectful. The room was clean and ac was working well. The beds were comfy and two types of pillows were offered (firm and soft). The only con is that the walls were a bit thin and could easily here people above us stomping around. 'Quiet room, great breakfast, comfortable bed.'

'The location, views and restaurant really blew us away. There were a few challenges with the room. We were there for 4 nights, so we had a bit of gear with us for hiking, etc, and the room was really small. The bathroom was difficult to maneuver in, because there is no where to put anything. All on all, the pluses outweighed the minuses, but it’s difficult, from the Expedia listing, to tell exactly what room you are booking, and with what amenities. I recommend going on the Cascade Lodge website...

'The mattress and pillows were my favorite part—soft, comfortable, and so cozy that I actually slept better than I do in my own bed. They also offer coffee 24/7, and there’s a convenience store and restaurant literally right across the street. There’s no swimming pool or fitness center, but it served my purpose perfectly as a quiet writing retreat.'
