'The cabin is amazing and has all the amenities you can ask for. My little girl loved the swing set and every room of the cabin was so cozy. The fire pit is huge with a lot of space for the family to sit around. The area was quiet and tucked back into the forest but it was close to the nearby towns. My family and I were shocked by all that the cabin provided. Definitely returning! '

'The second stay was just as enjoyable as the first one. The quintessential cabin in the woods, just like a cabin should be in my opinion, hence 5 stars. Clean, super quiet and dark at night for a good rest in a good bed. Perfect location (for me at least) area explorations. A great host, too, to boot. Will definitely be back. '

'Wonderful! So much more than we expected. Plenty of activities available at the cabin and through out Door county. Cabin had everything you could possibly need. Loved the game room and firepit area. Met the owner once during our stay, very nice gentleman! Did inform us there was a problem with their cell phones but could reach them thru the Log Den (their restaurant) felt guilty not vacuming up or stripping beds before leaving but thats me.( he said it wasn't necessary, they'd take care of...

'The views and cabin itself were GREAT! One of the best places we have stayed that fit everyone comfortably. Weather was nice enough we had a fire outside the first night. This VRBO was the first one we stayed at that had EVERYTHING. Bathroom had shampoo and conditioner dispensers. 'Our family has stayed at Collings Log House multiple times. And we keep returning. Its location is perfect, surroundings serene, the cabin just the right size for us. With multiple visits, we feel like “we’re home” when we arrive. Communication is quick between the management and ourselves when needed. 'This was our third stay at Roo Retreat for a relaxing winter long weekend. We love the proximity to Coyote Roadhouse and the short distance to the public lake access for ice skating or just walks on the ice. The house has plenty of space for us and our two teenagers to have our own space. We love making meals in the adorable kitchen, playing games in the dining room, and watching movies in the living room with a fire in the fireplace. We will be back. '

'The house was clean, comfortable and very easy to live out of for several days as we visited Door County towns and state parks. It was perfect for us to stay with our daughter and her family with 2 children(1&2).
