'Breakfast items were fresh, but on the first morning, the milk pitcher was empty, so I couldn't eat my cereal. The staff was pretty friendly and competent. Large parking area. Motel is across the street from a family restaurant and convenience store. The walls were thin. I could hear people in next room. Overall, a nice motel for someone on a budget. I would definitely stay there again.'

'Beautiful view. Pet Friendly. We stayed in the guest house. It was right off Hwy 13 including parking. Couldn’t hear traffic from inside though. It was on top of the hill looking out to Lake Superior. At bottom of motel property you can walk onto the trail Browntrail? It’s takes you along lake and into marina area and downtown. You can easily walk to and from downtown from motel. You can see the sunrise over lake from room. Nice new furnishings. Could use a luggage rack, light by parking and...

'Staff was great! I showed up super early to check in because we lost power at Trollhaugen. Even in the midst of a renovation, and a panic of other guests, they were able to get me a room within 20 mins to accommodate me! If I’m ever back to Trollhaugen, this is where I’ll be staying. Anthony was great! '
