'We enjoyed our stay, the accomodation was neat, clean and as displayed in the advert. The location was a bit different from what we had anticipated for eventhough the beach was nearby. The street in which the accomodation was situated was somewhat basic. The host, Elaine, was a real sweetheart and responded in a heartbeat to our questions and did everything to make out stay comfortable. We had a great stay, Newbiggin is very central to go and explore Northumberland. Deffinately a recommendation...

The views were beautiful and we were lucky to have dry days to explore Gibside and the Derwent valley. Lovely peaceful location, amenities close at hand. Thoughtful supply of books to read and general information. Very cosy and a tonic for the soul as so restful. '
