'Dorothy's place was great for my needs! As a single traveler, I only needed one room for one night. The premises was clean, close to Wrigley Field, and served its purpose. It was also a relatively affordable rate given area hotels. I would definitely stay here again!'

'One of the best price/quality options for your stay in Chicago. Great neighbourhood with lots of (rather expensive) restaurants and bars. Supermarket around the corner. Metro station at 10 minutes walking distance. The Villa Toscana is a charming old house with nice garden and verandah. Rooms are a bit small and stuffy, with no view or possibility to open windows in the bottom rooms, although the owner unscrewed one of the closed windows for us to let in a bit of fresh air. 'The room did not look like the photos used online- later found that the photos used were of newly renovated rooms in the building. Theirs is no parking like it claims as well, had to park on the street and pay for street parking and it was terrifying as a female alone walking back from my car at night.'

'Excellent staff , food was good too . Hotel was close to our game , cubbies only took one game out of two. Everything was super grand. Next trip to Chicago staying in same hotel. Nothing you can say bad about it. Close to everything thing, groceries and Milly’s pizza!'

'This place was very different and unique; a true B&B experience. Parking was difficult, but once we got our spot we used public transportation everywhere. The nearest bus stop and train station are a ten minute walk. After we got our room we were given a tour of the property and told of all the amenities available to us (of which there were several).'
