Hotels met restaurant in North Stradbroke Island

'Staff support terrible communication. Website said one thing but staff say another. I seek clarification and told oh yeah that's not updated. Our hrs menus etc changed. We made bookings and paid for it online too be told that's not available anymore. what was supposed to be a romantic weekend away for a engagement proposal was a complicated disaster.we were planning on having our wedding here but after our experience we will be looking elsewhere '

'Bed bugs beware room needs fumigating. Initially room looked okay. A bit grubby around door frame light switches. BUT as turning down sheets to go to sleep….spider under one pillow and tiny ants/bugs on the other bed. So daughter and I had to share a bed. Didn’t get much sleep and we were both covered in bed bug and mosquito bites in the morning. Unfortunately too late at night and too far away from anywhere to find another hotel otherwise we would have. '

'We found it extremely difficult navigating the stairs being disabled with a recent broken ankle and my daughter 8 months pregnant, going back over the booking there was never a mention this site has access issues, house keeping is only if you ask for it and there is no cutlery or dishes in the rooms, single bed is very uncomfortable, the staff as very nice, I can’t recommend the motel on the site for more than an overnight stay.'

'I had a city view room and it was wonderful. Comfy bed, large towels, good air con (would be nice if we could switch it to quiet mode). Staff were great and the food at Stingray and Yamogen was phenomenal. '
