'The property was run down and dirty '

'I can’t in good conscience give this a 5-star review. Because there were so many-5 star reviews we read prior to booking, our expectations were greater than the site was able to meet, and I can’t in good conscience do that to someone else. It does not quite meet the 5-star “beauty” it was touted to be by reviews and photos. Pros:Functionally clean and has basic supplies. Everything works. Close to just about anything you would want to do. Plenty of space, bedrooms and seating for a large group....

'Towel rack was torn off the wall in bedroom #1. Heating was hard to control between bedrooms. Neighbors dog was loudly barking and many feral cats in neighborhood. '

'We had a lovely stay for Thanksgiving at this adorable property. Our family of parents n grown kids easily found enough personal and communal space and bathrooms. The HVAC works well, and the kitchen has nice appliances and a great coffeemaker. There are linens, toilet paper, travel toiletries and dish liquid and detergent, so no need to haul all that with you. The place seems recently updated which is nice. An eye to some routine maintenance like tightening up towel bars and toilet spindles...

'This house is located close to everything fun in the heart of OKC. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with great neighbors. Close to lots of great restaurants. The host was very responsive and easy to work with on a few small details that made the stay even better.'

'The photos looked amazing but they were older pictures and the house is in need of some TLC. The pond was cool but needed cleaned up very swampy and needed all the tall weeds cleaned up. The air conditioning system was drastically undersized for the 2nd and 3rd floor. It stayed at least 80 degrees in these rooms and would get in the low 70 my mornings. The host knew about the issues and had fans, swamp cooler, and spot coolers trying to help but it did very little to control the heat during the...
