Golfhotels in Oahu

'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'Goede ligging, vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel. Wat gedateerde accomodatie, wel netjes. Zwembad mag de naam niet hebben.'

'We had a great stay at the Waikiki Beach Condominium. Checking in is a bit different from what you may be used to: there is no staffed reception. You have to dial a number at the door and the security guy will tell you at what room you are staying and how everything is working. While calling you also need to tell you would like to make use of the garage if you bring in a car (this is one of the few places we found where parking is free). 'We very much enjoyed our stay at Aulani! Our room was very clean, the cast members were very friendly, we loved seeing the fab 5 in their tropical outfits but best of all we enjoyed our view of the sunset while sitting at the beach at the resort.'
