'We love Kiawah Island and the Sanctuary! It's our little paradise in the South! Sanctuary is at its finest, the room, the staff, the view, the lobby and the grand staircases! Southern charm on point!!'

'If there was a way to leave more stars i would.. legitimately every person on the staff valet/front desk/maintenance team/restaurant and bar workers was a legit pleasure to deal with. Ive never had a more pleasant experience at a hotel/resort. Special shout out to Lizzie who helped my wife plan a bunch of things and was a legit just a ray of sunshine every time we spoke to her..This was our honeymoon and it could not have been better 100 stars out of 5.!!!'

'We have been coming for many years, unfortunately the breakfast and the evening apps and drinks have gone down in quality. We still come as still a good deal in the folly location, just sad to see that the amenities aren't what they used to be.'

'Prima hotel voor de prijs. Niks meer niks minder. Vervelend dat er maar 2 handdoeken lagen terwijl we met z’n 4en waren'

'The room had built up dirt in every corner. My white socks were dirty after walking from the bed to the bathroom. There was dust on the room divider wood. We were put in a room along the highway. It was very noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful.'

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'Our room wasn't cleaned, the beds were possibly made (couldn't tell for sure) but there were crumbs and garbage from the previous occupants in several places. The bathroom had clumps of hair in corners that had been there for some time. All appliances had caked up dust on them so the room hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. Management was understanding to some extent and offered another room that was equally dirty. We ended up staying the night in the second room after cleaning the bath and...

'Nicely decorated and clean rooms. Great common area for breakfast and coffee. Nice deck to sit out on and relax. Walking distance to everything - beach, restaurants, night-life.....'

'Wifi doesn’t work.'

'Staff were outstanding- friendly and welcoming and eager to help!'

'The price was why I chose it and if they did the basics right I would give a better review. I didn't expect much, but was disappointed in the first room in that there was no shower curtain and the rod was obviously broken. They were able to move me to another room for nights 2 and 3 but there were no glasses or coffee cups or coffee materials. The MODs were good, but I question how a simple low cost no frills motel can't get to the basics right.'
