Mooie maar warme kamer. Openen op een kier van het raam (binnenplaats) kwam met een straalmotor-achtig geluid vanuit een of ander apparaat. Toch goed geslapen met hulp van de vloerventilator.
De locatie in de stad is perfect, centraal en tegenover een prachtig museum.'

'Dit was ons derde bezoek aan The Bell. Het hotel is uitstekend gelegen voor een bezoek aan Oxford en the Cotswolds en een perfecte stopplaats op weg naar Wales. De kamers in cottagestijl zijn mooi ingericht, de grotere kamers aan de straatkant zijn zonder meer de beste. Ongelooflijk goed restaurant met uitgebreid menu, vooral bekend bij de lokale bevolking. Als je hier op vrijdag of zaterdag overnacht, zeker ruim op tijd een tafel in het restaurant boeken.'

The hotel has a good outdoor seating area and a fantastic restaurant with tasty Indian food. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and make you feel welcome. They are so passionate about their business it really makes your stay that extra special. The rooms are clear tidy and very cosy. '

"Very 'Oxford' style hotel. A little wear & tear in my single room. Room was a little too warm for my liking and opening the window was quite tricky for fresh air (no airco - or at least airco not working at this time of year). Rusty and leaking kettle in the room."
