'Baliyana Lodge is a slice of paradise - beautifully landscaped grounds among the native trees on a hillside overlooking a valley towards the ocean. Remote but only 15 mins to the beach and 25 mins to Tamarindo. The hosts could not have been nicer, wonderful, healthy breakfast included, quiet, peaceful and serene location. 'My friend and I spent a wonderful 10 days here. The house is well equipped with everything you need for cooking, games, chilling. The pool is amazing and Marian is an exceptional host, easy to communicate with and going over and above the necessary required. The highlight was the monkeys, who moved through the field in behind a couple of times and gave us some great viewing opportunities. Definetly recommend. '

'Excellent choix à Tamarindo. Gerardo était très réceptif et répondait très rapidement à nos demandes. Le logement était parfait, près de tout, plage, restaurants et boutiques Le bijoux de notre séjour était la piscine, nous y allions plusieurs fois par jour. Nous avons adorés et nous allonsy retourner c'est certain! Merci Gerardo! '

'The house is beautiful as is the pool. Pool is cold as it is further away from the water and the nights are cooler. Hearing the howling monkeys early in the morning was amazing. They didn’t wake us. We are just early birds. The construction next door would’ve been nice to know about. Definitely felt a lack of privacy due to that and due to the cameras ALL over the backyard (4 seen). A bit excessive for my liking and felt a bit intrusive to be honest. Safety is one thing…I get that. It was hard...
