'We had a wonderful stay at Sunny Bay Resort! We were looking for a relaxing getaway, and that is what we found. Our hosts were very thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed. Our comfortable cabin was steps away from Big Pine Lake. We enjoyed sitting in the shade of cottonwoods and watching the ducks and geese on the water. Boats and kayaks were available for our use. 'Great experience. We booked 2 other hotels, one ended up being in a different city ( even though we searched Detroit Lakes ? It was 26 miles away!). The. The second, was disgusting, and apparently also a halfway house, and over booked our room! American inn came through. Great service, clean, safe, and great service. '

'It was so quiet and peaceful and the host were wonderful right when we got there they had marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers to make s’mores and anytime we need help with anything they were there would definitely rent from them again'
