'The Quiet Cottage, also known as Stolhammer Hus, is the perfect base to explore the Mesabi Bike Trail and the Range. The house is very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great screened in porch, as well as a deck that has you sitting in the woods. The host is great, very accessible and helpful with local recommendations. I would highly recommend the Quiet Cottage in the Woods!'

'Wonderful stay! Mike and Andrea are amazing hosts and truly care about their guests! We had the pleasure of visit with Mike a few times and think the world of him. Great location close to Jay Cooke State Park and not far to surrounding areas. Property was spotless, quiet and great neighbors. Perfect for a couple or small family. Can’t say enough great things about our stay, hosts and people of Minnesota.'

'It was a great stay with an amazing view and fun games! I think my only complaint is the bunk beds are in an actual closet and the trash can in the kitchen is very small. Other than that everything was great! And the hosts were spectacular about getting back to me! Would DEFINITELY stay here again'

'The property was beautiful inside and out. Lots of spaces for gathering. Made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is so calm and serene. The kitchen works well for a crowd, but could be better stocked and organized. Our family had the best time and would definitely go back!'

'This unit was comfortable. The beds were great for a sound sleep. Very large kitchen, living and dining area was roomy. Enjoyed coffee on the front porch or back deck. Surprisingly found the downstairs bathroom by opening a door in the laundry area, The only thing that was a little difficult was the shower in the upper bath which had a weird ring on the foucet to pull down on to get the water to spray. Really close walk to the beach on Lake Superior. Canal Park is easy access by foot. We would...

'The communication was seamless. The house was completely clean. Location ideal. We had access to everything we wanted and needed for a wonderful visit. The views are dreamy. The kitchen fully equipped. The bed was comfy. All the amenities - screen room, decks, fireplaces and fire pit, canoes and on and on - were as described and in perfect order. There was space for quiet times alone and gathering times w whatever crew you have w you. Again, location. So close to Bemidji, Lake Itasca, so many...
