'The property was very clean and the houses are very well maintained. The swimming pool was not operational. The road into the property is horrible they need to work on paving the entrance. The check in didn't go well we arrived after 5:30 pm and the office was closed and there was some difficulties getting checked in but eventually they got it straight. 'We traveled to Moms cabin from upstate NY for a family wedding in NC. It was a fabulous location, we had our 4 year old grandson with us and we were able to do morning and evening fishing which he loved! Loved the screened in porch, it was an excellent week of adventure.'

'My husband and I stayed for 1 night, had an amazing time. The portable AC worked perfect and was able to cool the entire dome despite the 90 degree heat! We enjoyed our time by the fire and eating our meals outside. The nature scenery was very serene with birds and deer passing by. 'We found this little gem of a place to stay in Matthews on VRBO while visiting our daughter and grandchildren. Easy to find, perfect location, close to shopping and restaurants. 'Gastonia was a very beautiful place to stay. Easy access to a charming downtown and close to Charlotte. The property itself had some problems, so better prepared packers will avoid inconveniences, but the owner was accommodating for shortcomings. A good spot if you don't plan to spend all day at home.'

'I had an awesome time in cabin #4! I enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and had fun paddleboarding from the marina steps away. Although I was in the water with a snake swimming close by, I felt safe with many visitors nearby. The staff on property were friendly and helpful. The Friday night movie was a lot of fun and the firepit felt cozy and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay! '
