'staff is very nice and helpful, location is good, with 10 min walk you are in the old center. shopping center 15 meters away.
the san felipe castle is opposite the hotel.
During the day, afternoon and evening it is safe enough to walk to the centre but only at night it is advisable to take a taxi.
i was hesitant to book this hotel. but now that i have been there. i am glad i booked this hotel.

'Kind, courteous staff. Only stayed here one night when arriving in Cartagena before heading to the islands. Wish we had come back here for the second part of our trip in Cartagena. Convenient location to lively nightlife, restaurants, etc yet no right on the corner and rooms are away from the street so they are *quiet* at night. '

'We really loved our stay at Casa Moraira. The rooms are spacious and the decorations are beautiful. The small pool and hammock were perfect to take a nap in the afternoon heat. The homemade breakfasts were amazing, you felt like you were eating at home, very cozy. The location in the heart of Getsemaní was perfect as well. My only suggestion would be to make the bathrooms a bit bigger and decorate them as beautiful as the rest of the house!'

'I found this hotel very convenient to the areas of tourism. You can walk to the Walled City and Getsameni if you continue your walk you’ll eventually hit the beach. Very clean and the hotel staff were very polite. '

'Nice hotel in the Getsemani district. In this district you will find many nice shops, bars and restaurants. It is also pleasantly busy with BBQ on the street. Also walking distance to the beach. Highly recommended.'

I enjoyed this place a lot and I appreciate all services that were provided. Room was great as well. Restaurant was nice. Breakfast is FREE. Also FREE coffee, water, and tea for 24 hours. WOW! I'll definitely come back here!

'Excelente localização para um hotel boutique. Quartos muito confortáveis apesar de haver ficado no último andar e não contar com elevador. Café da manhã poderia ter mais opções.

We booked a room with clublounge access and this was the only part that could be better. The (sparkling) wines were very sweet and did not taste good. The food offering in the evening was very limited, but the quality was decent. They also have cocktails, but they did not advertise that you have to make them yourself. After some help from chatGPT we found some nice combinations with the drinks that were on offer. But we would not choose clublounge again here. Was kind of an disappointment.

For Colombia it’s an extremely expensive hotel but it’s a nice experience to be pampered and well looked after. Room was nice and comfortable, although the hotel and rooms show some signs of wear and tear. So the hotel management shouldn’t forget to continue to invest in maintenance.
