'A bit worn but clean and beautiful outside. The bed was not comfortable though and the room only had 1 floor lamp so it was dark at night.'

'Prima locatie, dichtbij het centrum van Bar Harbor. Schone ruime kamer en genoeg parkeerplek achter het hotel. Het ontbijt had iets gevarieerder gekund, maar het was wel fijn dat er elke dag verse koekjes en cakejes werden gebakken.'

'Schone kamer, locatie top, Bar Harbor op loop afstand en beschikbaarheid van de koffie thee water fruit en sap was geweldig. Ontbijt was okay'

'great location bear Bar Harbor and Ellsworth and very nice rooms'

'The place was nice & quiet.'

'The room smelled really fresh and had a sweet vibe. I loved the window in the bathroom, it made it feel homey. The location was great, we were able to walk everywhere.'

'Gorgeous spot, great location and fantastic staff!'

'Room was simple, but spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower had rather low pressure unfortunately. The coffee machine was very basic but did the job. The coffee, water, and snacks in the lobby were very nice to have. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for navigating the town and dinner reservations (shout-out to Christopher). The only downside was the price. For what it was, I think the price was very high, but was happy with the experience overall.'

'We had a wonderful visit and really appreciated the helpful suggestions from Chris. The staff was great as well. We booked the one room cottage and it was nice and cozy. Easy walking distance to downtown as well.'

'I liked my stay at the Bat Harbor Grand Hotel. The room was good and spacious, breakfast was sufficient in choice and the surrounding island is beautiful. Parking super comfortable and free.'

'Overall great stay'

'Great place!'

'The staff was excellent and was very informative about things to do in the area. The meals were great and the beds were very comfortable. The location is fantastic and was such a pleasure to experience this property. If we come back we will definitely book here again.'

'Grounds were clean and same with the rooms. We had a decent stay the location is perfect! And breakfast is included in the stay. Our showers were lukewarm so that was disappointing. Staff told me that happens sometimes in the morning. For the price I’d expect this not to be an issue. But I understand, the location is top notch.'

'Need a bigger sign on outside of building so I can see the numbers. Tried calling the management because I couldn't find my pass code, no answer, good thing I finally found it otherwise we wouldn't have gotten in. Over all it was tidy. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was filthy and the remote was missing. There was a stain of some sort on the underside of the comforter. The pillows were lacking purpose (definitely used beyond their time). The bathroom vent/light was extremely dirty! Has it ever...

'The room was very clean. Store was nice to have and restaurant was handy! Close enough to everything!'

'Our stay was amazing through and through. Everything was very clean, the inn was very cozy and felt like coming home. Juliana was incredibly helpful and her cooking was wonderful! From breakfast, to the 4 o’clock bakings, to the cookies and muffins you could grab to go, we WILL be back because of all that!'

'Goede locatie, vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime parkeergelegenheid, grenst aan achterzijde aan het park, shuttle bus service is super handig ook als je om 08:30 een Whale Watch trip hebt geboekt, prima complimentary ontbijt (vers fruit beschikbaar zoals banaan, sinasappel, blauwe bessen)'
