'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'We liked this stay a lot! Very new and clean, overlooking the mountains, very nice and refreshing. Nice restaurant in a walking distance. Very friendly staff. With that, keep in mind:1. It’s a tent! 'The hosts were amazing. Chris and her husband, Wayne, were fantastic hosts. To our utmost delight, there was firewood stocked by the fire pits for our use. There was also BBQ grills available for grilling. The grounds were breathtaking, with incredible seating all around the river; double-sided rocking chairs, rocking picnic tables, and fire pit seating. The dock was perfect for river-side viewing and a quick dip for some. We will be back! A wonderful treat for our visiting guests. '
