'I had a great stay at HI Boston. It exceeded my expectations. The complementary breakfast is a plus, they have yoghurt, bread and bagels. A good place to meet new people. A big kitchen with everything that you need to cook your own meal. The staff is very helpful and they keep everything clean. Good neighbourhood. One small thing was the temperature of the room it was really cold. But the reception is open 24h so I got an extra blanket and they would check it out. '

'Just needed a bed and this was exactly that. Clean shared bathrooms, clean bed, good security. I lucked out and was there when it was very quiet, other guests in shared room were very respectful. I would stay there again. I only stayed for one night, quick in and out.'

'We stayed on the third floor for one night as we were needing a place to stay before flying out of Logan. The location was nice and there was a great coffee shop down the hill – walking distance. Only about 20 minutes from the airport. We took a walk in the evening and it was very pleasant. Clean room. Did not use shower in shared bath but looked clean. '

'The Perthshire house is an inexpensive and beautiful option to Boston hotels. My room was lovely and large with great light and views. The dark wood floors, trim and doors throughout the house are magnificent and well maintained. The common areas are comfortable and well decorated and the kitchen well stocked. The bathroom was great, While sharing a bathroom can be a drawback, it was not an issue for me. I highly recommend this place! '
