'We were picked up by the hotel shuttle bus from the train station. On arrival at the hotel, we were welcomed by a lot of staff and got a welcome drink in the lounge with a stunning view over the city. We were then invited for a after dinner trip to the top of the mountain which was again a stunning view over the city. The dinnner and breakfast were typical Japanese style and very tasty. The rooms are big and had reasonable size bathrooms. There’s also a big public bath. They make the beds...

'It is a simple ryokan which shows how it used to be. Very serene and quiet place with a small but beautiful onsen (hot pool and outside rockpool). Right there he walk to the Buddhist temple along the Kansii River starts. A most outstanding forest walk with many Buddhist features along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and that 2 hour walk.'

'Incredible place to stay'

'Tucked away above the bar/cafe, this onsen was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very traditional in the Japanese style, and we had access to the entire area as we were the only guests staying on that night. The staff were completely lovely and helpful. The showers and toilets were well kept and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect to walk around and explore Koyasan. Definitely worth a visit!'

'The only bad thing I could say is that the pillows were kind of small and the WiFi was not cooperating at the time. Everything else was really good, amazing room and a really good location '

'温泉が付いた部屋に泊まりました。大きな温泉がふたつ、部屋にあり、ひとつは透明、ひとつは源泉をひいてきている。とてもリラックスできて良かったです。 テレビは大画面がふたつ、寝室とリビングにありました。大きな机がありみんなで楽しく観れます。 料理は厳選されたものが出て、とても美味しかったです。 建物自体が少し暗い感じがしますが風情があり良かったです。つまずかない様に注意ですが！ また利用したいです。よかった。'
