'The history of the property is alluring. The bed was so comfortable and inviting. There were so many things that we wanted to do that we could not in the time that we were there. We did have a slight issue with not being able to find an innkeeper when needed, but we never had any issues other than that. We would definitely return. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.'

'A real gem for those wanting a private vintage experience in the West End. We enjoyed the ambiance of a small Inn with just 6-7 named rooms all with period decor and spacious upgraded bathrooms. Pool table, parlor, porches and beautiful grounds. A short, safe walk to some of the best local restaurants. A true find. Thank you'

'We stayed here for 2 nights in a comfortable suite. The property was very pleasant, as were the staff. Parking was easy and safe. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good.'

'This is a 123 year old property, so naturally doors didn't fit perfect, etc. But this was once of the greatest nights I spent. The staff was a joy, and to find out that the owner of the house was the nephew of the founder of my hometown in Virginia was priceless. I will be back.'

The hotel was located just off the highway so you don't have to drive through congested city streets to get to it. It is also near a shopping mall and a number of restrauants.'
