'Every morning was spent on the front porch enjoying the beautiful butterfly bush and listening to the various birds. This is a wonderful place to stay because of its location to the wineries, clean home, and absolutely beautiful country setting.'

'The host is very responsive and nice! The property accommodated all of us comfortably and very convenient to the location where we celebrated New Year! '

'My wife and I had a terrific stay at the Halestone Cottage. The facility was clean and its location in Lexington was ideal. We would recommend it highly to any couple visiting the area.'

'This was a very clean place. Easy to find and the pool was excellent. This was a spur of the moment stay for us and couldn’t have been happier. Neighborhood appeared to be nice as well. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.'

'Excellent location for our needs! Secluded, peaceful and quiet, but close enough to the Blue Ridge Pkwy making travel easy. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever is needed to prepare meals. The front porch was my favorite part of the house, so relaxing and restful. Mattresses were comfy. The Host is easy to communicate with for any questions that arise and is open and appreciative of feedback and observations regarding possible corrections for future stays. Love the beautiful, natural area!...

'The host was very informative about check-in and what to expect. The house was clean, cute, and very peaceful. Loved the view from the backyard. Definitely recommend!'

'This was a great stay for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the location was ideal, especially for the price! The AC is new and works great in the central rooms but does have a little trouble cooling the bedrooms simply because of the age of the house. Other than a few very loud vehicles that drive past, it was surprisingly quiet for the location. It was cool to stay somewhere with so much history!'

'Liked the fresh cut Lilac bouquet, size of kitchen, and TOTO washlet in bathroom.'

'Awesome location with 4 bed, 4 bath. Lots of room.'

'The house was very clean and in a beautiful mountain setting. The host was very quick to respond and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back.'
