Strandhotels in Roanoke Island

'I loved this quaint little place. We didn't arrive until after dark, but the owner was on the phone guiding us to the property. When I left the key code in the room while unloading the car, we called her again and she helped us unlocked the door. My only complaint would be lack of ventilation in the bathroom, but the Fairfield Inn and suites the night before also lacked it. Would stay again.'

'THIS INN IS AN ABSOLUTE JEWEL ON ROANOKE ISLAND, AND COMING FROM ROANOKE, VIRGINIA I CAN TELL YOU FROM ONE ROANOKER TO ANOTHER, THIS IS THE BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND TO STAY. THE STAFF WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD, THEY WERE SO NICE AND SO HELPFUL, AND THEY MADE ME FEEL RIGHT AT HOME! I WILL BE BACK!!!'

'The room was clean and comfortable. It is located in a quiet area with only a 10 minute drive to the area. The pool was really nice. We stayed for a week and the card in the room said we would get room service halfway through our stay if we wanted it. We put the card out to service the room but they didn’t do it. We then found a staff member and asked for clean towels and to sweep the floor. We did get a couple of clean towels but it didn’t feel like they swept the floor. If there had been a...
