'Although there was an issue with my booking on arrival (I had a confirmation but it hadn’t been received by the hotel), they were great about it and didn’t hesitate to get me a room organised. I was a late arrival and the kitchen had closed but again the team sorted me something to eat. The room was great and breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended!'

'From arrival to departure the staff were attentive, and polite. The room was spacious and didn't require anything else. Plenty of parking. The breakfast choice was good and tasty.'

'Check in was easy & we were shown our room & where everything was. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast & what time. The breakfast was very good & prompt including toast & either tea or coffee. The location is very central & within walking distance & has a car park which made things easier. The only downside which was beyond their control was the 17 weeks of roadworks nearby which confused the sat nav. Definitely would use again. 'Setting was idylic, bar area was cosy and warm especially when log fire was burning. Staff very welcoming and charming. Restuarant lovely and food excellent, limited menu but prepared fresh.
Rooms very quaint, little one bedroom cottage, lounge area downstairs with Tv and upstairs a bedroom and bathroom with large bath and powerful shower.
