'We stayed in 2/2026. The negatives that need some major attention: Inside the place: BLACK MOLD, & uncorrected water damage to the ceiling, & baseboards in multiple rooms. Paint is worn. Appliances rusted. Master shower doesn’t drain (fills up when you first turn on the shower & doesn’t drain for an hour). Guest shower door doesn’t close. Corners of rooms dirty/grimy. 'This place was awesome and we would stay again! It was very clean -- kitchen surfaces, floors, beds, bathrooms all looked great. We loved the 3 floors, 2 balconies & stocked kitchen supplies. 'This space is designed to immerse you in the beauty of the coastal waters. The two upstairs bedrooms are the only traditional "enclosed" rooms featuring a view of the sea, AC and their own toilet/sink. There is a shared semi-enclosed bath tub, toilet and shower in addition on the ground floor. Otherwise, the kitchen area is essentially outside and open. 'We were a 2 family group with a bunch of teenagers (6) but it could have easily accommodated more of us. Very rarely does a vocational rental exceed all expectations for everyone but this one did. 'The house was nice but could use some TLC. One of the downstair rooms needs a new mattress, the benches in the living room are in need of repair, and both showers upstairs need new shower heads. Overall, it is a comfortable house close to the rainforest and the Luquillo beaches.'
