'It is an old property that needs further refurbishment. We waited five minutes at check in and finally called for service. Office was closed at 8:45am when when departed. We had to leave the key in our room. One bottle of water in the room otherwise no amenities, coffee or tea, refrigerator, bottle opener. I'd expect more for the rate. They did have two wine glasses. Our garden view looked at roofs. If you leaned over you could see umbrellas below. Second floor walk up. The rooms were just old...

'Very friendly and attentive staff. We loved everything and everyone. One big downer for us was... We sunk into the matter and felt like our feet were higher than our heads. If you want a more firm mattress to sleep on, you may need to bring your own. I highly recommend the hotel replace their mattresses to medium firm.'

'Excellent property/spa resort! Parking is NOT an additional charge, which is refreshing. Included breakfast made to order was the best. Also, nightly wine tasting hosted by the hotel from different vineyards was a bonus. Spacious rooms, nice grounds, pool, garden, gym, hot tub and fire pits enhance the enjoyment of the stay! 'Perfect little place for a weekend getaway! Great amenities room and bathroom. Easy parking. Great location within walking distance to restaurants shops and wine tasting. Even a shuttle to get to more wine tasting spots. Loved It!'

'Offered an early evening wine pour between 5-6pm at the lobby. You also get a bottle of either a red/white wine if you follow them on any social media platform. Check in was a breeze, staff was nice and helpful. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. '

'We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is really luxurious and the facilities are really nice and cosy. We also rented bikes and used the gym, both were excellent. The location is also great and alows you to walk to the many restaurants, shops and wine tasting locations in Yountville. We would definitely stay there again.'

'My wife and I stayed in something I think they call a Cottage. But it's really 6 standard hotel rooms with a very nice king size bed. The room was clean and neat. My primary issue is the room was advertised at $210/night but after adding 6 separate taxes the rate was $310/night (47% increase). color me "not happy"'

'The Bergson absolutely lived up to our expectations and so did Calistoga with great walks, wineries, people and atmosphere. The Bergsom and Calistoga is a perfect place for a small get-away.'
