'We were delayed due to train issues but were still welcomed by their staff though we arrived late in the evening. Their rooms are very comfortable and welcoming. What's unique about the Oakhurst Gatwick was their invitation the night before to complete a menu which allowed their chef the next morning to customize your hot meal breakfast, according to your tastes. As a smaller hotel, the atmosphere at breakfast was peaceful, personalized and refreshing. '

'Unique was : it is a very old building, it has a very nice host, it is near the shops, there is a beautiful garden, free parking, great breakfast....etc etc...This was our second visit...and we will be back again and again!'

She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. 'Wij verbleven in een familiekamer na een transatlantische vlucht. Gekozen voor deze accomodatie omdat vroeg inchecken (11:00) mogelijk was. Prijs was verder ook ok. Afstand tot LGW ook. Hotel/guesthouse is gevestigd in een oud pand van voor 1900. Erg goed onderhouden allemaal. Ziet er netjes uit. Als je grotere hotels gewend bent, dan is het een (klein) nadeel dat je een dag van te voren het tijdstip van het ontbijt moet inplannen. Ontbijt was trouwens prima. Transfer van en naar de luchthaven...
