'I have known about this property for years, but finally had the chance to stay here for an extended time. Uptown, aka The Heights, isn't the best neighborhood in general. But the immediate area has a lot to offer for food and drink. The hotel property is gated, creating an oasis of a compound. It's quiet, not terribly busy except on weekends, they often sell out. 'Great stay. I wish I had parked overnight on the street instead of paying 18 in the lot. Bed and room was very modern and comfy. Very nice area of town close to dining and shops. Surprised to find earplugs in room but emergency vehicles made it clear why - thanks staff! Check out the farmers market on Saturday. Really nice kids playground there if you have young ones.'
