The breakfast was adequate, the balcony was lovely & the beds were comfortable! Location was perfect, just a short uphill walk to get to the train/bus station and main square! 'The hotel is 2 minute walk to the bus station for Machu Picchu. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. Our tour was early and he gave us a bagged breakfast the night before so we could eat and let us leave bags in the room so he could store them for us while we were out. '

There is no elevator to go to the room or breakfast area which on the 6th floor. But you're not supposed to carry any large luggage anyway. Only you might end up walking up and down when you forget something.'

'It was a very unique property with a very nice vibe! The room had an amazing view and that was a huge factor.The room was clean and it does have lodge vibes...very simple and very nice! The girls were very sweet and packed breakfast for us as we had a 4 am hike.The water was super hpt which is amazing and towels were nice and clean :) we had a few requests and the stuffed satisfied them all in a timely manner :) great place to stay for one night :) '

'Someone was waiting for us at the train station to take us to Rupa. That was nice because the place is not easy to find. Also someone carried the luggage which was much appreciated while it's a very steep climb to the hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated and staff is very helpfull and speak good english. So a perfect place to stay. Only negative I can say is that the showers where not hot but that is realy the only thing. '
