'The place was good and relaxing but it is away from town. No activities in hotel. Good if you want to relax before or after machu pichu. Room is clean and has good views. Breakfast was nice'

'Cute Peruvian hotel close to town - walkable to a mini market and restaurants. We would stand outside the hotel and flag down a motortaxi if we wanted to go further. They would charge us $5-8 sol ( about $1.75-$2.75 us ) to go into the town square or to the train station . The town square is really cute. The beds were comfy and the worker will give you a heater for your room if you’re cold ( we went in winter) . They stored our roll on bags while we went to Agues Calientes (Machu Picchu)...

'The staff were incredible. Super friendly and very easy to get a hold of. They stowed our luggage so that we could visit the town after checkout. The hotel was really cute and quaint. I would stay there again.'

'This is an outstanding option in the budget to mid range and only ten minutes' walk from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms feel recently renovated and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highlights include great breakfast and a secure entrance located in a gated alley just off C.Belen. An unexpected benefit is the perspective this offers on a more pedestrian area of the city just outside the tourist zone. Recommended. Restaurant options are limited to Pizza but you can est elsewhere and take it...

'Great stay. Perfectly located between the train station, shops and restaurants. They had complimentary breakfast included. The shower got really hot. We traveled with our two toddlers, had a triple room and we were all comfortable. Check out felt early but they held our bags for us while we waited for our train. Would stay there again.'

'Lilium Valley in Ollantaytambo was perfect for us. Communication with the hosts was excellent during booking and they answered all of our queries. A bonus was off-road parking for our rental car. The hosts were welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. They offered us an early breakfast due to our early start onto the Inca Trail. The accommodation is only a short walk to the main square but was very quiet. We would definitely recommend Lilium Valley.'

'Nice gem in the middle of sacred valley, we stayed at the luxury suite, and they were quite nice for the location and price. Excellent value for money. The hotel is quite isolated from the city and there is pretty much nothing to do around the area. Breakfast was boring, no quality food options and the taste was bland'

'Clean rooms and big. Quiet the staff was wonderful, breakfast was really good with all the continental breakfast essentials. Restaurants are walking distance, strongly recommend Pollería la granja…..the building has an elevator…the only thing I would suggest is to build a ramp for people that are on a wheel chair or have heavy luggage also to put hands rails on the front door steps.'
