Glad you had a great stay, Crystal! The neighborhood is a typical 1950s urban/suburban part of SA. Burglar Bars on windows was apparently a thing in SA at the time. We have actually removed them from many houses we have remodeled. Some homes in the area have been remodeled and many have not. We also love the location and proximity to highways, shopping and dining. Thanks for staying!

Mary, glad you enjoyed the house and found it to be quiet and close to everywhere you wanted to go. Although the houses are a bit older in that neighborhood, most of the owners display a pride in ownership. One of the reasons we like that neighborhood.

Jayni, we are glad you found the house had everything you needed for your stay! The house is in a 1960's Urban/Suburban neighborhood and burglar bars were typical for that vintage of homes in San Antonio. We always remove them from the remodels that we do, but many have not been remodeled and still have them. The security system is just an extra precaution because we don't live at the property and sometimes it does sit empty for several days. Just as with all major cities, there are some panhandlers who move around San Antonio from time to time. We have never witnessed them in the neighborhood and they typically move on to a different HWY intersection after a time. Also, we have instructed our housekeeper to do a "deep clean" on the floors. Thanks for letting us know that it needs attention! We strive to provide our guests with a 5 Star stay!
