'Working for a CPA means being unable to get away during the typical spring break. So I always try to take a trip in early May. This year it was me, my adult son and adult niece. We come to Michigan often but usually stay in a hotel. This year I decided to try something different, and I'm very glad I did. The cottage sits right on the lake, you can hear the sounds of the water from the sunroom. There were all kinds of boats & kayaks available along with a gas grill and a fire pit. My son loved...

'We had a relaxing time. Beautiful views of Union Lake from inside the home and deck. The house has everything you need for a good time. We rented a pontoon from Chris which allowed us to get on the water to swim instead of right off the dock. We enjoyed playing pool and kayaking. No major issues during the stay. '

'This house was just as described. The house is clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice and we used the fire pit one night. We had a little trouble initially using the keypad entry but the host responded immediately and was able to open it remotely. Would highly recommend this property for a quiet and remote experience. It’s about 15 minutes away from restaurants and shops. '
