'I will start with my only negative on this home. The driveway is very small. We had our Ram truck and it fit under the covered parking area. But a bigger vehicle might not fit. That's it. Everything else was so good. The house had multiple reminder notes around it. Which I find very helpful. The kids and I loved every well placed detail. The toy closet was a huge hit. We're hoping to book this home again in the future. '

'This house was amazing in so many different ways! We saw so much wildlife and enjoyed the view! We really appreciated the consideration the host took for guests! Not only did they have a beautiful sitting area to enjoy to the scenery but they also have games, movies and all the necessities you could think of! 'This was a great house with a nice covered porch, quiet setting and less than 10 minutes to campus. Five adults, two dogs and plenty of room. We didn’t cook a meal, but we used the nice jacuzzi, fireplace and tv and all worked well. We’ll be back! '

'It was perfect. It’s conveniently located near Banner Elk restaurants and the park, as well as other activities. Decorated in a welcoming mountain style with lots of bear accents, it had everything we needed. My husband and I had a relaxing visit and plan to return. 'This is an excellent mountain top cabin with gorgeous views, room for six overnighters, and is without a doubt, the cleanest property I have ever rented. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The round cabin is high up the mountain, just south of blowing rock, and it is both quiet, with sounds of songbirds and a lovely place for short or long-term stay. The drive up to the cabin is winding and very steep, and folks should be aware that in winter time it might be a real challenge to get up...

'My family and I, along with our 2 dogs absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was well stocked, clean and cozy. We experienced it all: the hot tub, both hiking trails, the creek across the street, the fire pit and the front porch sitting. We even got to enjoy a little snow! It was the PERFECT get away & we will definitely come back to stay again!'

'Even though the weather wasn’t great, the cabin was clean and cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to just sit, read and enjoy the rain. We were hoping to get to use the fire pit outside but winds prevented that. Will keep this on our list of places to stay in the future.'

'Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet. We didn't expect to wake up to snow and feel like temp of 7 degrees, but the cabin was warm, cozy, and dry. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back! Thanks for the memories Bear Cabin!'
