'A perfect lake retreat for a larger group. Excellent location on Smith Mountain Lake, including dock, paddle boards, heated pool & hot tub. The beds are the most comfortable sleeping mattresses I have ever slept on while traveling. The home is beautiful and the views amazing. Close to shopping, wineries and restaurants. Definitely is a true vacation.'

'We had a lovely stay in this clean, comfortable home. We went hiking in Shenandoah and the nearby trail. We took a day to explore Strasburg and Winchester. We mostly enjoyed the beautiful view and playing games and chatting by the fire. The hosts were kind and were available to answer any questions and to offer hiking and restaurant suggestions.'

'Loved staying at this house this past weekend. Very comfortable for a family and we had a great time making memories here. May be a good idea to put electrical covers on the electric socket next to the lower bunk bed, we didn’t trust our toddler to stay on this bed for that reason, but everything else was perfect. 'Had a great time staying at the Masten Cabin, celebrating our anniversary and my husbands birthday. Quiet and secluded in the woods, yet close to Winchester, Strasberg and points beyond. Well appointed with comfy furniture, we especially enjoyed the screened in porch to sip coffee and enjoy the view. If our travels take us back this way, we’d love to stay again!'

'This home was wonderfully equipped, as a matter of fact they had nice bonuses such as soap, TP, shampoo available so you didn't need anything right away. The only drawback is if you have an issue with stairs. It is 90 stairs to the water. Very safe stairs so I used it as exercise but if you struggle with using stairs this may not be your place. The view is amazing and the home is very confortable'

'The Valley Extended Suites is a clean, modern hotel that provides good value. Whether for a few days or just overnight, it has what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep.
