'The location was excellent, close to Sinjuko-sanchome and a short walk to Sinjuko Station. Outside the hotel are charming narrow streets with lots of great dining options and convenience shops. Breakfast was a mix of traditional Japanese and western items. Our room was very small, but comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. '

'I love hotel j-mex. The worst part is to get down the stairs to the property if you have big luggage etc. everything else is perfect. This is a love hotel so you will see people using it for that purpose, and cigarette smell if that bothers you. If not, J-Mex is always my go to when I stay in Japan. The room is huge. The bathroom is the best. 100000/10 we love you j-mex see you next trip'

'We zijn 2 nachten in dit hotel verbleven en zijn erg enthousiast. Het personeel was vriendelijk, de kamers erg netjes en schoon en ruim. Er waren enkele extra’s die het verblijf nog beter maakten, zoals een wasmachine en magnetron op de kamer. Ook was er een tv waarbij je via YouTube gewoon filmpjes/muziek kon opzetten. De locatie was voor ons als gezin met veel koffers en een kinderwagen net te ver van het station, maar dat was het enige nadeel. '

'This is a really nice place for a longer stay in Tokyo. The rooms are a little bit bigger then your average room and have a nice seating area. One disadvantage is that the rooms are only cleaned once a week so the room was more then a little bit dusty. '

'This was a very fun place to stay in the absolute heart of Shinjuku. Omoide Yokocho is only 3 minutes away, go under the traintracks and cross the street and you're in Kabukicho. We had some worries about sound because you're on a very busy street but aside from the very occasional ambulance (twice in 5 nights) we didn't hear much outside noise. The staff spoke impeccable English and were very friendly. This is the perfect place to stay for first timers who want to fully immerse in the hussle...

'I think this hotel was not worth the money. Location is great, the rooms are too small (even for Japan) and the window is too high, giving the room the more of a claustrophobic feeling. It also felt a bit unpersonal and I think I could have stayed at better hotels for the money I paid.'
