'お風呂がありがたかったです'

'More character than a typical hotel if you want to feel like you're somewhere more traditional. Beds are comfy and the staff is very kind and helpful. Only warning if you're tall, be careful as there are some low doors.'

'Originele Japanse overnachting inclusief japanse gastvrijheid! Een unieke ervaring, echt anders dan het 'standaard' hotel.'

'房間很棒很漂亮 設備很齊全 環境很安靜 床鋪很舒適 離車站便利店很近很方便 最後一趟旅程疲勞得到緩解'

'When we arrived, the host was super friendly, accommodating and patient. We came in December and the unit was quite cold and we tried to adjust. The bathrooms are shared, the shower was not but there was 2 shared showers, super cold area and floor (don’t think it was heated). Price, area, convenience, local eats very good. Be prepared for very little English. Thank you for hosting us , I would stay again.'

'Great place for solo travellers'

'お風呂が思ってより、広くて良かったです。'

'Great place with deep spiritual and cultural roots. A bit of a hidden gem - clean and modern accommodation combined with 600 years of Samurai history. Temple Priest and Kendo master, Tendou Akitsuki is a great host! Good base to explore Gunma and the alps from.'
