'Beautiful structure in typical local style. Very friendly staff and always ready to answer your questions with a smile. The food at the restaurant is good but not at the highest level you can experience in the area. We enjoyed the location a lot being very close to Pienza and Montelpulciano. Unfortunately the rooms are quite close to the main road and it can get noisy early in the morning. The view on Pienza is simply marvellous as well as the country road to Monticchiello.'

'Whilst the infrastructure and location were classic Tuscany, the hospitality (staff engagement & food) were underwhelming. It never felt welcoming & it was challenging to discern who were the owners, staff or guests. It was often unclear how their systems operated, ie how to purchase wine/drinks, when dinner or breakfast would be available & the service was extremely slow. We stayed for 3 nights & ate dinner there each night (meal ~€50 pp) as had been tempted by the photos of gorgeous food when...

'Zeer charmante locatie, goed gelegen, erg authentiek. Zeer mooie kamers maar helaas niet zo functioneel. Prachtige details in de inrichting en vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijke wijnen van eigen wijngaarden. Op dat vlak top ! Spijtig van de dramatische WIFI en de vervelende details in de kamers (meer gericht op esthetica dan op functionaliteit). Prima restaurant.'

'Het hotel heeft een heel mooi zwembad en mooie kamers! De weg ernaartoe zouden ze misschien een keertje gelijk kunnen maken, of grote stenen verwijderen. De weg is stijl mer veel kuilen. Het bed was groot! Alleen de kussen hadden geen goede vulling. '
