'The Grand Highland is located downtown in the center of everything that is going on. Our room was pretty, clean, had A/C and our room had a claw foot tub!! This a turn of the century bldg and THERE IS NO ELEVATOR, so pack accordingly. There is free parking behind the bldg. but checking in was street parking. Gift stores, restaurants, the historic downtown is all walking distance. Also, very close (15 minutes) are mountain trails if you want to some outdoor activities.'

'Well there’s not much to say but the best thing they have going is the pub connected to the hotel that’s about it some of the rooms are good and othered are let’s just say not good one of our lamps was broke the tv had technical issues that I eventually fixed myself after telling the desk there’s no fan in the bathroom there were no body wash or conditioner in the shower I asked for some at front desk the kid at the desk said he would pass it. along I had to go to the local Walmart and buy...
