'Elevator was broken'

'Check in was smooth! Check out was easy. What i didn't like was the double payment of the security deposit, even know it was only $20 a day i was charged it on arrival and on check out. Although for my bank the refund of the deposit was quick 24 hours after check out. It was still dumb.'

'This hotel is a unique experience, great for beer lovers or travelers with dogs. We love being greeted with complimentary beers. The food is not as good as when we stayed five years prior. It used to be the best breakfast we have had at a hotel, but now is a lot more standard. Hotel staff are friendly, the rooms are clean except for a few small details like vents. Someone had been smoking outside and the scent was getting brought in by the A/C unit in the night.'

'We got to the hotel at 8pm and found out upon arrival that the hotel was overbooked and our stay was canceled. The hotel never communicated this to Expedia, whom I booked through. We were in OH for a rock festival so 90% of hotels were entirely booked and the other 10% were charging 2x or 3x usual rates. 'Overbooked by an entire floor. Blamed it on Expedia.'

'The a/c don’t work, the outlet was burnt out, door didn’t have a lock other than card, door also don’t shut all the way it had a gap. The tables and nightstand could use a clean, or better yet, replacing! I wouldn’t recommend longer then a night stay.'

'The property is a duplex, we got both sides. Each unit has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Upon arriving, the yard had a lot of litter/trash. I picked a lot of it up and threw it away. There was also a swept pile of construction debris right outside the back door. Inside, the kitchens are updated and nice. However, there was no garbage can in the one kitchen. We did see a lot of dust in the house. Also, bathroom sink was very slow to drain. Shampoo and body wash containers in the bathroom were empty....

'Room was very clean but the rest of the property was TERRIBLE!! Remodeling going on and the hallways, etc. were dirty, carpets needed swept and there was wallpaper hanging and some really bad paint jobs being done. I’ve stayed here off & on for over 12-years and this was the WORST visit ever. First night I had no hot water (called desk & was told maintenance would be in at 7:00am); hallways were very dark (I need to see who’s in the hallway when I’m walking). Didn’t eat breakfast 1st morning...

'It was Great location especially us visiting Hocking hills for 2 days . This property is well maintained and location is very good . Also travelling to Hocking hills is less than an hour.'

'It was a last minutes stay for a concert we was attending in Columbus for the weekend because our BNB was cancelled. Definitely wouldn't recommend it. For was filthy, shower was gross and half the outlets didn't work. The sink only ran hot water. Had to brush our teeth with hot water. The AC was so noisy could hardly sleep through the night. Terrible experience all around.'

'Holes are in walls and doors very outdated rooms feels very unsafe people sleeping in hall ways at all hrs of the night dogs constantly barking would never stay had I known the actual conditions of the property glass on the ground all over the place don’t advise this unless this is your last choice and then you might be better sleeping in your car'
